A New Zealand man has been jailed for two years after his conviction and sentenced to 10 years and 5 months in prison.
The 34-year-old man, who was found guilty of one count of possessing, receiving and carrying a prohibited substance and two counts of carrying a prohibited substance, has pleaded not guilty to charges of the offence.
The court heard that on May 7 last year, in his first appearance in the criminal court for Magistrates’ Court, he was jailed at the New Zealand prison for two years, three months and five months for the possession of a prohibited substance.
